YOLO!! Don’t leave it too late to sail off into the sunset! What an adventure!!!!…Ep35

We leave Savusavu, Jacques Costeau Resort, to sail to Vanua Balavu. We stop at Viani Bay, then at Qamea Island on the NE or Taveuni Island, then over to Vanua Balavu. Our first stop on Vanua Balavu is at Mbavatu Harbour (sometimes called Bavatu) where we kayak up a stream and snorkel along the edge of the water. We sail south to the island of Susui where we snorkel in amazing untouched pristine coral reefs and visit the village. We give the wife of the chief about 60 Days for Girls kits and explain how to use them. She will take them to a meeting in a few days and explain to the women and girls of the village how to use them. We walk to the other side of the island with four delightful young girls and talk to them about their lives in Susui. With Keith and Rene from Zatara we dive a nearby bommy and explore turtle cove and the rushing water between two islands at the change of tide.
