This video summarises our 2021, sailing around Australia in our Leopard 50. We left the Gold Coast on 12th February 2021, stopping at Coffs Harbour, Sydney, Eden and Port Lincoln. We then crossed The Great Australian Bight, rounded Cape Leeuwin one fo the 5 great capes of the world and stopped at Bussellton, Bunmbury and Mandurah before spending a month enjoying Fremantle in May 2021. We then headed out to Rottnest, and played with a quokka, then went to the Abrolhos Islands after stops in Two Rocks, Lancelin, Green Island and Jurien Bay. We caught Baldchin Grouper and lots of Southern Rock Lobsters in the Albrolhos before seeking shelter in Geraldton. We then headed up to Ningaloo Marine Park, swam with the whale sharks and dived the world famous Navy Jetty Pier in Exmouth. Next was Thevenard and the Mackerell Islands before the Montebellos where we spent a week snorkelling and catching more crays and coral trout. Then we headed straight to Broome and spent some lovely time seeing friends. From there we made a few stops around Cape Leveque to admire the red rocks and then across King Sound for our first anchorage in the Kimberley at Silica Beach. We enjoyed the Horizontal Waterfalls and swam in lots of waterfalls and pools that were safe from crocodiles. Seeing Aboriginal art was a great motivation for exploring rivers and rock formations. At all times the fishing was spectacular. Russ was even heard to say that he was sick of catching a fish on each throw. Not really! We arrived in Darwin and experienced the lock to enter the marina.
