Sailing and staying connected. Using Facetime and Kids messenger with the grand kids...Ep23
May 07, 2020 by Cruising Sunrise | Language: EN Play Time: 00:19:06 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

Being full time liveaboards and sailing to remote islands, its important to us to be able to stay in contact. We love using Facetime and Kids Messenger to stay connected with our beautiful grandkids. Our families and friends follow our adventures on You Tube and Instagram (SV Sunrise).
We visit some islands in the New Zealand Hauraki Gulf including Motutapu, Rangitoto, Rakino and Motuihe. We walk to the top of Rangitoto, the youngest volcano in the Auckland area, explore the lava tubes and the marvel at the iconic lava fields full of black craggy rocks. We step back in time and walk around the baches on the Rangitoto coast, built in 1920s and 1930s and now a living museum. The islands are all pest free and as such are sanctuaries for native NZ birds including Tui and Saddlebacks as well as Oyster Catchers and Pacific Gulls.
