After 4 weeks of exploring mainland Nova Scotia, we've made it to the north of the province and onto Cape Breton Island... a rugged, remote and achingly beautiful place that's been voted Canada's #1 island. The roads are winding and isolated, leading to white sand beaches backed by forests and lakes. The Mi'kmaq people have looked after this land for over 10,000 years, and they still protect and honour that lineage today. Join us as we explore all of this in our camper van Sophia, taking her to places we never knew existed.

We're Chesca and Ben, and with our two pups River & Scout (🐶 🐶 ) we live and travel full-time in our self converted sprinter van, Sophia. We spent the past 2 years road tripping as much of Europe as we could, from the wild coasts of Portugal to the Syrian border in Turkey, tackling lockdowns and a van re-build along the way. But now, we're feeling like a new challenge. In the summer of 2022, we'll be shipping our van from the UK to Canada, on a mission to drive her all the way to Mexico baby! 🇲🇽 🌵
