We're officially back on the road, back to van life and beginning our journey back to Europe, slowly winding our way north along the west coast. From what we heard, the west coast was going to be hectic and commercialised, a far cry from the East of Turkey where we spent our first couple of months. But driving onto the Datca peninsula felt like entering another world. We found ourselves surrounded by majestic mountains, turquoise seas and roads that wind like ribbon through the wilderness. With natural springs along the road and at least one major town to stock up on supplies, this could well be our favourite place to get off-grid and forget about the outside world.

We're Chesca and Ben and River (🐶 ) and we usually live full-time in our self converted sprinter van, Sophia. After a year of travelling Europe, from Spain and Portugal to the island of Sicily, the pandemic brought us back home to the UK. Along with a secret project! We spent the winter re-building Sophia into a more sturdy overlanding rig, ready to take us across Africa - our next challenge. However, it's a trip we've now had to postpone. But when the wind changes - adjust your sails! We're now off on an Eastern voyage across to Greece, Turkey & beyond. I hope you enjoy this new adventure as we overland our way East.
