After a memorable van life trip to Cappadocia, seeing the otherworldly balloons and experiencing the coldest weather so far in Sophia, we say a sad goodbye to our friends Philly and Keely. We have had such good fun travelling with them and can’t wait to meet up again somewhere on the road. We love them big time 💕 Rather than go back on ourselves by 11 hours, we take a three hour drive south to find the sunshine we’ve been craving, and update you on our new travel plans.

We're Chesca and Ben and River (🐶 ) and we usually live full-time in our self converted sprinter van, Sophia. After a year of travelling Europe, from Spain and Portugal to the island of Sicily, the pandemic brought us back home to the UK. Along with a secret project! We spent the winter re-building Sophia into a more sturdy overlanding rig, ready to take us across Africa - our next challenge. However, it's a trip we've now had to postpone. But when the wind changes - adjust your sails! We're now off on an Eastern voyage across to Greece, Turkey & beyond. I hope you enjoy this new adventure as we overland our way East.
