In This Video I sail from Long Beach to Newport. Sailing out of Long beach was some of the best wind I have ever experienced. This was the most perfect day of sailing the weather was amazing, it was warm and sunny with the perfect amount of wind. I was able to go around 6 knots under sail power for at least 2-3 hours of the trip! The seas were calm which made for a beautiful sail that was peaceful and not much rocking at all! Kiki even felt comfortable enough to climb up and sit by the mast with me! I got some cool shots of the sails full of wind and the boat sailing through the water. I am so proud of my boat and how well it sails! After sailing for a bit the wind dropped enough for me to be able to send up the drone and get some awesome shots of my boat! Enjoy my epic montage of those shots :) After getting the drone back I turn the engine back on and head into Newport Harbor! I make my way to the anchorage and it was calm enough to send up the drone again for some cool shots of the anchorage! It was so hot once I was anchored I jumped into the water to cool off and then I made some chicken and enjoyed dinner in the most beautiful sunset and moon rise!
