New Dinghy Set Up!
B.O.A.T Break Out Another Thousand... I got a new DINGHY! I completely set it up from scratch and wow it was way harder than I Though! My old dinghy refuses to hold air. No matter how many times I patch it the seems keep splitting.. and I'm NOT delaying my trip any longer. Im getting this dinghy set up and we are heading out of the dock!! In this video you'll see my old dinghy half dead... I make my way to my moms house to pick up the delivery of my new dinghy. I was not prepared for how HUGE the shipping box would be.. its half the size of the door! My Mom and stepdad were not home so I had no one to help get the box into my car.. so I improvised! I took the dinghy and all the accessories out of the box.. loaded them into my wagon.. then into my car! Then back in the wagon and down to the boat. It was a PROCESS! After I got it down to the harbor I was so excited to leave for my trip that I graciously assumed it would take about 20 minutes to set up. I was WRONG! It took over two house to get it assembled and tied up ready to leave for the trip. I am so happy there was instructions but the most helpful thing was the instructional video of how to get the floor boards together. They told you a tip to use the ore and prop one of the floor boards up to get the other one it place.. it worked. This was also one of the windiest days in the harbor so please bare with me foe how terrible the audio is in this video! I was exhausted by the end of it! But now I have a New dinghy that will hopefully last me at least 5-6 years! I really like the color of it too! The harbor will be tearing down the dock and building a new one so I got the boot! Though todays video is not as adventurous as most of my content, this is an important update I wanted to share with you guys! Next I’ll be headed to Newport harbor, sunset sailing.. and anchoring at night!
