Sailing to the Arctic | Departing Mainland Norway | Ep 39
We’re finally setting off and start sailing to the Arctic! In this episode, we begin our Arctic sailing expedition departing from mainland Norway towards the remote and icy wilderness of Svalbard. With the Barents Sea ahead of us, we brace for unpredictable weather, high seas, and a sense of true isolation.
Our first target: Bear Island/Bjørnøya – a mysterious halfway mark where we hope to anchor and visit the Norwegian meteorological station. Why? Well... let’s just say there's a chilly challenge waiting – and the chance to join a very exclusive naked bathing club (but that’s coming up in the next episode!).
