Last Day in Québec City | River Cruise, Old Québec & 7 Course Dinner
Our final day in Québec City was packed with history, incredible views, amazing food, and one unforgettable dinner.
We started the day exploring two of Québec City’s beautiful Notre Dame churches, including the impressive Notre Dame de Québec Basilica Cathedral and the smaller, charming Notre Dame des Victoires in Old Québec. These historic churches are two must see stops for anyone visiting Québec City and offer a fascinating look at the city’s architecture, history, and French Canadian heritage.
From there, we walked down into Lower Town and the picturesque Petit Champlain shopping district, one of our favorite areas of Old Québec. After exploring the shops and grabbing lunch, we headed to the waterfront for a scenic cruise along the St. Lawrence River. The river cruise gave us a completely different perspective of Québec City, with beautiful views of the historic skyline, Château Frontenac, and the surrounding landscape.
But we saved one of the best experiences of our entire Québec trip for last.
For dinner, we enjoyed an incredible seven course dining experience at Restaurant Saint Amour, one of Québec City’s most celebrated fine dining restaurants. It was definitely a splurge, but was it worth the cost? Absolutely. From the presentation to the service and each course, this was the perfect way to finish our Québec City adventure.
