In this video, we drove our converted minivan camper farther north in Canada than we have ever been – right to the edge of Alaska! We enjoyed the long days of light with the northern spring sun, and were grateful to see some wonders of nature, including glaciers, a baby moose, and several bears (black and grizzly)! We made coffee outside using our micro-camp stove and made sure to take in all the rich (and big) plant and animal life around us!
You may notice that we had a campfire in this video. Please note that this video was filmed long before fire bans were put in place. Canada is currently experiencing its worst wildfire season on record, and there are now prohibitions for campfires in place across much of the country. We always check to make sure there are no bans or obvious risks before lighting campfires, and make we sure that never leave our campfires unattended. Please refer to the appropriate issuing agencies in your jurisdiction before lighting any time of fires or conducting activities that may risk starting a wildfire.
