In this episode we tour Nova Scotia in our new rental car while our van is stuck at the Mitsubishi Dealership. We drive the Cabot Trail and experience the steep cliffs and brilliant colours this drive offers in the Fall. We hit some bad weather on our way back and decided to pull into New Glasgow’s Walmart Supercentre for the night and try to adjust to our new space… we also challenge ourselves to staying in that car for 12 hours straight.

We woke up early to drive to Peggy’s Cove for sunrise which was spectacular. Then we went to Wolfville for breakfast and finished our tour of Nova Scotia in Lunenburg – home to the famous Blue Nose. We had to say goodbye to our rental car and now we are once again stuck in Halifax without a car.

Our van is a 1998 Mitsubishi Delica, originally built in Japan. It is the L400 model with a V6 Gasoline engine, 4×4, locking rear differentials for better off-road performance and plenty of room in the back for our conversion! We also have a large metal roof rack and ladder that will allow us to carry more cargo.

Thanks for Watching!
