We make a short passage from Squirrel Cove to Lund BC, then continue south from Lund, through the Malaspina Straight to Boho Bay Lasqueti Island where we thought we might blow away over night… (Good protection from a North West wind they said…) Then, it was on to our final anchorage on Gambier Island before heading home and closing our summer cruise. Barlovento Sailing
We sold our house, bought a sailboat and are exploring the incredible cruising area on Canada's west coast. Catherine and I are grateful to be living, working and playing, in the traditional territories of Skwxwu7mesh (Squamish) Indigenous People. We sail on a 2014 Hanse 415. Based out of Squamish, British Columbia Canada, we are in love with sailing and can't wait to experience all the West Coast has to offer.
