Davy and I (Erica) have recently upgraded to a hurricane damaged catamaran! This new chapter is going to push us in very different ways. From repairing fibreglass, fixing electronics, cleaning up the cosmetics and many many more jobs, this new phase of our adventure is going to be very exciting. We are looking forward to getting Barefoot 2.0 up to cruising standards! Being in the Bahamas there is some very shallow waters to navigate through, especially if you wish to seek safe harbour. French Wells located in the Crooked Islands is the best location if a cold front or northerly wind arrives.
We checked our draft and did a depth check before we could enter French Wells.

I know everyone has been asking questions about when we will get a mast. The simple answer is it is not in the budget right now! We are making our way North so we can finish our boat state side. More to come on this in upcoming videos.
