In this episode, Maru and I wake up to a fresh Atlantic ocean breeze blowing over the island. Our own little slice of paradise, while being surrounded by fellow sailors, and soon to be friends.
We enjoy some tasty breakfast and then head out to do a bit of kiteboarding around my sailboat. But pretty quickly we noticed the other sailors coming out onto the decks of their boats to take photos and share in the stoke. It was smiles all around. So I put on a bit of a show for everyone.
Too bad my GoPro Hero 6 Black did not feel like working. It fogged out and then just stopped recording mid session. Oh well. That’s part of life out here. So instead Maru took some great photos with my long lens camera. Which I’m happy about, because it showed the true stoke that was happening.
Then I put my twintip board down and took out my surfboard. Getting out away from the beach was a thrill. The surfboard does much better at tackling waves, and I was able to go explore the bay for miles and miles!
Coming back in I reflected on how fast time flew, the day was gone, but we had our fun. Just another day living life on a sailboat in the tropical paradise that is the Bahamas.
THIS IS LIFE ON A SAILBOAT IN THE BAHAMAS! AND I LOVE IT!
