Fighting Dangerous Hungry Sharks For My Fish!!! [Spearfishing & Sailing Life] (Ep.#11)

This episode gets a little crazy, just how I like it! This is how I love to sail and explore throughout the Bahamas.

Maru and I set sail from Marsh Harbor to Hopetown in the Bahamas. Getting in and set, we linked up with my friend Mike. After catching up with him and checking out his latest endeavors. Mike and I went for a quick spearfishing mission to get dinner.

After I speared a fair size grouper, the sharks were quickly on us! Causing the swim back to be extremely dangerous as the sharks contently tried to find a blind spot to sneak up behind me and steal my fish. Or worse, bite me by mistake!

In the height of the chaos, I happened upon a school of tarpon. Which at first I thought were more sharks. This was a special moment for me, since I’d never swam with Tarpon before. But I still had to be on guard since the sharks were now trying to use the tarpon as cover to get closer.

I ended up fighting the sharks all the way up to the shore line. But in the end, they did not get my fish! Instead we all enjoyed it in a wonderful fish piccata pasta dinner made by my buddy Mike. It was delicious!
