After a wonderful morning sailing across the bank and anchoring up in Grand Cay. Maru and I hop in the water to checkout what’s around. Maru does not get far though, as she makes an adorable friend. A tiny remora she promptly named “Remorita”. I swim up current and find my own friend. A slightly bigger remora I named “Remoria Jounior”. This fish sticks to me for more than an hour as I swim around and collect dinner. Passing up on many fish and conch I wait to take my shot on a nice Gray Snapper. And then later find a good size queen conch with a thick fully mature lip. (Queen conch is legal to take in the Bahamas provided it has a fully flanged and mature lip.) Ending the day with a nice meal anchored in a tropical paradise.
This episode takes place from the afternoon of April 10th 2021 till the evening.
