We’re finally at the end of our 36-day passage from Costa Rica to Hawaii… and searching for wind! Becalmed off Maui, Hillary swims with pilot whales, then with some wind finally blowing we sail right by a drifting shipping container – eek! Then, a mile offshore from our destination with absolutely no wind and a non-working engine, we get towed into the harbor to make landfall.
