Assembly Required DIY Sailboat Projects [Adventure #201]
Adventure Adrift
Hillary and Ty started with zero sailing experience, transitioning into capable offshore cruisers aboard their Passport 40, Yaringa. They have documented their journey from the notoriously dangerous Columbia River Bar down the Pacific Coast to Central America. The couple is known for their self-reliant approach, undertaking extensive DIY electrical and mechanical refits to maintain an affordable off-grid lifestyle on the water.

The sailboat refit continues as we struggle with removing and re-installing a laminate countertop with contact cement. We also put the finishing touches on the main salon, bringing the new settee cushions out and and installing a brand new table.
