Vesper WatchMate XB-8000 smart AIS install – Sailing Sailfish Ep.35
Join us we install our new AIS Vesper XB-8000 smartAIS Transponder with WiFi and NMEA 2000 Gateway. While cruising, the XB-8000 sounds the alarm in case of a potential collision or a man overboard situation, even when all other equipment like MFDs or mobile devices are switched off. While at anchor, you can sleep soundly knowing fully well that the smartAIS transponder watches out for anchor drag or man overboard situations and sounds the alarm without needing any other equipment.

We’re a sailing family of 4 who loves the water. We started sailing in 2011 as a way to travel for fishing and we’ve had so many amazing adventures that we decided to start filming them on our Hunter 34 sailboat. We had a goal to sail to the east coast of Canada and continue south to Florida/Bahamas to fish the winter away in 2020 but Covid didn’t let that happen. We are planning to now leave May 2021 and we cant wait to take you along.
We love sailing, fishing, windsurfing, snorkeling and traveling. Subscribe and join us as we sail and fish our way to new destinations on the water.
