We dreamed of this life but its harder than we expected

Life on a sailboat isn't always sunshine and perfect anchorages.

This week we're anchored at Pancake Creek, where we set off on a family walk to the lighthouse before the weather has other plans. After a few days stuck onboard with two young kids, we start questioning whether this lifestyle is really for us.

But as the skies clear, so does our perspective.

We slow down, explore the beautiful coastline, visit the historic Bustard Head Lighthouse, and are reminded that some of the best moments happen when you stop rushing and simply enjoy where you are.

Join us as we share the highs, the challenges, and the reality of raising two young children while sailing Australia full-time aboard our 38-foot sailboat.

If you enjoy honest family sailing adventures, we'd love to have you aboard. Don't forget to like, subscribe, and come along as we continue our journey north.

⛵ In this episode:
• Exploring Pancake Creek
• Walking to Bustard Head Lighthouse
• Days of bad weather stuck onboard
• The reality of sailing with young kids
• Why slowing down changed everything
