Some days on the water remind us exactly why we chose this life.
This week, we set off before sunrise on a 70-nautical-mile sail to our next destination. With calm weather, a beautiful day ahead, and 13 hours on the water, we settle in for another family adventure.
Like any journey, there are a few challenges along the way. I share my ongoing battle with seasickness, we embrace the slower pace of life at sea, and after a long day, there's no better feeling than dropping the anchor safely in a brand-new anchorage.
This is the real side of family sailing—beautiful, challenging, rewarding, and always an adventure.
Thanks so much for coming along with us! If you're new here, welcome aboard. We'd love for you to subscribe and follow our family's journey as we sail Australia's coastline one anchorage at a time.
If you enjoyed this episode, a like, comment, or share really helps our little channel grow—it means more than you know.
We'll see you next week as we head to the stunning Keppel Islands... where an unexpected change of plans keeps us there a little longer than expected!
