• How strong a swimmer do I need to be? For whale swims, you should be comfortable fin-swimming in open ocean at a brisk pace for short intervals. If you prefer, you can stay on the boat.
• Minimum age for in-water whale swimming : 15
• Maximum age for in-water whale swimming : 65
• Participants must be comfortable using a mask, snorkel and fins, and able to manage water entering their equipment without assistance.

Swimming & fitness requirements:

Guests wishing to enter the water must be confident swimmers and physically fit enough for open-ocean swimming.

You must be able to swim at least 100 meters independently and without assistance. Whale encounters require swimming in deep water, sometimes with waves, current, and ocean movement.

Participants must also be able to enter and exit the water independently and have sufficient strength and mobility to get back onto the boat using our recovery sled.

Our tours are entirely dedicated to observing wild marine life in its natural environment and to respectful swimming encounters when conditions allow, aligned with local regulations. Sightings depend entirely on nature and the presence of wild animals and therefore cannot be guaranteed. We make every effort to locate wildlife, but we cannot guarantee any sightings at sea. No refunds will be provided in the eventuality of no sightings or in-water interaction.
