NJS – Tour de Martinique – Sailing Greatcircle (ep.247)
We continue our tour around the island until Marijke arrives in St. Anne after flying back from Holland. We join the rest of the World Odyssey fleet in marina Le Marin to prepare for the next crossing to Panama.

After stoppping for 2 days in Mindelo, Cabo Verde, we continue towards Barbados. The forecast looks great. Following the great circle course we shouldn't sail for a lot more than 2050 miles.

Now the bigger crossings are starting. We have a nice build up with first the 650 miles from Sevilla to the Canaries, now the 850 miles to Cabo Verde and next the 2.100 miles to Barbados. Difficult weather patterns but still surprisingly good sailing times.
