We went back for more sailing out in the sea. With more trial and error now I'm getting a little more familiar with Galopin. The sea was littered with jelly fish that looked like garter belts for can-can dancers. And it rained like it never rains in the south of France, so we went to discover m...

This time we set off with grey skies and a tormented sea, so we play it safe and do some manoeuvres in the channel. With much courage, Mickey made good on his promise to swim in the frigid waters. We went back to Leucate for more flavourful fun at the Sol y Fiesta festival and we were warmed to be o...
After the untimely demise of our Phantom 2 due to a close encounter with a palm tree, we were drone-less for an excruciating few months toward the end of last season
:(
Thanks to our patrons at www.patreon.com/svdelos we're back in action with a sweet Phantom 4 and we're getting some cra...
A heard of wild elephants is too hard to pass up for Delos, so when we heard a rumor of an island on the remote West Coast of the Andamans we immediately set sail! After a nights sail and some searching we finally anchored in front of Interview Island. In the middle of no where we found the ranger ...
We saw fish swim through town, a birdman and flying saucers! We followed recommendations to go to the town of Leucate for their Sol y Fiesta festival. Just small local festivities that blew our minds. We do manage to do a few projects, but this festival has to be experienced.
To be or not to be sailing. The answer was simple. Get the boat ready and go out sailing to make sure the rigging was set up right. We also got a good taste of Port Leucate and did a few projects. Mickey oiled the teak and I secured the roof dodger snap-on tacks.
Please make your voice heard:

We have a boys day girls day! Brady, Brian and Max take the dinghy on a river adventure back to the town of Mayabunder in order to get a permit to visit Interview Island. In typical man fashion we get our work done in 5 minutes and head to the bar for a morning beer. We meet a crazy Punjabi man a...
Galopin has the honor of welcoming Mickey for a few days. (He's my step-dad & my brother's father). He's been asking about Galopin and and wanted to visit the area. Mickey is pretty curious, so he's fun to go about discovering things. I also finally put an end to my struggle ...

I take a break from sail related things and visit a documentary film festival in the charming town of Nyon ne...
After Delos is destroyed by volcanic ash we do our best to clean up the mess and get the hell out of dodge! We sail to the funny little town of Myanbunder, eat some butter chicken and grab some fresh veggies. While there we here a rumor of an island on the West coast with elephants running free. ...

The winch saga continues in Episode 15, Good & Bad Winches. For a boat so well maintained, it was a surprise to see the winches had been so neglected. But it's all part of my Winded Voyage to get familiar with winches and their functionality. I took some time to go and see the winded nieghb...
Scuba diving in a very remote island in the middle of the Andaman Sea. We stern hook Delos to the cliffs, break out the dive gear and do some incredible diving. The girls decide it's going to be a clothing optional cruise, the boys go fishing, and Delos gets covered in volcanic ash when the win...

In Episode 13 (lucky 13), I went looking for spring sails and found a happy green egg. It was Easter weekend, so this little green dude was hanging around Port Leucate, popping his head around the landscape. I did do a small project of installing a GPS Navigator. And the highlight was going to get a...
