We spend just a few weeks traveling through the Bahamas on our way back from the Caribbean but have a great time. Mostly we spent our time in the water!
Embark on an incredible adventure as we join The Cruising Kiwis while they navigate their way through the stunning Maldives islands by sailboat! Immerse yourself in local island life, discover unique markets, and encounter thrilling moments aboard their vessel.
This is what our lives are like out here in a remote atoll in French Polynesia! Our family lives on a 53 foot sailboat and we've been sailing around the world for the last 13 years. Sometimes we take for granted that our life is kinda unique out here, and so in this week's video we take ...
The abandoned Zali Resort in the Maldives offers a glimpse into an unfinished slice of luxury on Dooni Atoll. Though not operational since 2011, this stilted overwater resort showcases impressive timberwork and breathtaking ocean views.
THE BEST REMOTE SAILING DESTINATION
We are sailing our live aboard catamaran, through the Maldive islands. I sound like a broken record when I say here is yet another stunning anchorage, remote and isolated with an uninhabited island to explore.
There are no amenities, just a shipwreck, spacious c...
We make the short sail from St. Thomas to Culebra, leaving the USVI and entering the Spanish Virgin Islands. We really enjoyed visiting both Culebra and Vieques, they both have a very laid back feel. From Vieques it was another short sail to Puerto Rico where we visited San Juan and spent time cr...

This is a shorter video. We weren't planning to make a video about the USVI but we were asked, and felt we maybe had enough material. Hope you enjoy it. We spent about three weeks and found we LOVED St. John's. We would like to spend some more time in St. Croix to explore it further -...
Emily's exotic Eleuthera expedition continues as we venture out of Hatchet Bay. Last time we explored inland lagoons and dark caves, but this time it's good food and the Leon Levy Nature Preserve.
Care you join us on the adventure?
Much love,
Kirstin & Andy

We weren't sure we would stop in the BVI, but the Salty Dawg's had a rendezvous so we decided to join in and it was a great time with some old friends. We spent another week cruising about on our own, with a fair amount of diving and as always lots of exploring.
We make a quick stop at St Barths and check out the beaches and more. While St. Barth's is often referred to as the Beverly Hills of the Caribbean, and it does have the upscale shopping and dining to match, there is a lot more to this small island.

We visit two more of "The Islands that touch The Clouds", Nevis and St. Kitts. An enjoyable week and a half of touring about, above and below the water!
We had a quick visit to the island of Montserrat. This island's character was greatly changed by the eruptions of the Soufrière Hills volcano between1996 and 2010.
We are back in Dominica, The Nature Island, for several weeks. We really love this island - the people, the island itself and the surrounding sea! Here is a short video to share a bit of it with you.
