Hey everyone! I won't lie, this latest update from Indonesia has taken longer than anticipated, partly because the winter blues have dampened my motivation. We're back in Perth for the season after bidding farewell to our incredible Sailing Ocean Life and beloved Ocean Lady. While I can't complain as Perth winters aren't too harsh — it does feel like we're going back on our promise not to spend another winter at home. Today was mild at 20 degrees, albeit a bit grey and dreary, nonetheless, we miss the boat life and the freedom of the open water.
What really brightened my days was editing our adventure to Bima. Reliving the amazing experiences and the incredible people we met brought warmth and joy back into my life. If you’re feeling down and don’t have a project like this to cheer you up, please reach out for support in your local area.
So... We wish to welcome you to another exciting chapter of our Sailing Ocean Lives! In this episode, we set sail for Bima, and we're keen to dive into the rich Indonesian culture and its beautiful ceremonies, not to mention the warm and welcoming people we meet along the way.
But there's so much more to Bima than what we've shown in this episode, so be sure to tune in next time for a special surprise you won't want to miss!
We can't do this alone; we are lucky to have the support of our amazing family, friends, viewers, and patrons who are the wind that fills our sails. Your support means the world to us. If you'd like to support us it's as simple as clicking the subscribe button and of course, we're always keen to hear from you so please drop us a comment.
Thanks so much!
