Recently we decided to purchase a two masted 70ft wooden schooner in Brazil. The fun detail about our story is that the boat we bought is sinking and relying on many bilge pumps to survive and we need to lift it onto the dry ASAP to fix what is needed and start our refit.
In this episode we are preparing our boat for a long trip heading south!
After having the hull evaluated, we decided we could carry on with our initial plan of traveling to do the full restoration while at home.
