E64 Weekly Vlog of Life in a Nutshell narrowboat travels.
We continue to head north and cruise on the River Soar. We make it up to the Erewash Canal and spend the night moored next to the pub. A few ales in the pub and the next morning we cruise the final few miles to the winding hole and our first turnaround point. Heading back south now, we spend a lovely day on the cut, enjoying the beautiful weather and stunning autumn scenery.
Once at the Loughborough Basin we meet up with nutters from all over the country at the Swan in the Rushes for a few farewell ales and stores.
The next day is handover day to the new owners of Nutshell, Glenn and Lisa Warner. She is now in good hands and we will be heading off to Panama to new adventures.
