Ep 366 | Let's Talk About Power in the Nutshell Nuthouse
This week is all about power and sorting out Nutshell’s systems. Her wiring is in need of TLC. We buy a state-of-the-art Victron Multiplus II GX inverter and get ready to install our lithium batteries.
Magnus tackles the deck cupboard, clearing out a load of useless stuff, including a large generator and various old batteries. We begin to make a dent in clearing out the extra stuff on the boat.
After darting here and there to buy provisions, fuel, fiberglass supplies, and various necessary items, we finally leave the marina.
And, just for fun, we set off in a storm—it seems to be our way of traveling! We left Mexico to cross the Pacific in a massive storm. We believe that if you don’t go when you intend to, you’ll get stuck and who knows when you’ll leave. So, we just go!
