Recently we decided to purchase a two masted 70ft wooden schooner in Brazil. The fun detail about our story is that the boat we bought was sinking and relying on many bilge pumps to survive so we had to lift it onto the dry to start a full refit.
In this episode we start building our whole new keel!! We share every detail of this very handcrafted way of building boats, taught from generations to generations… that, actually, started all the way in Spain! We are beyond stoked to have our new keel in progress and we hope you enjoy the process with us!
