This week we stop off at a cute little village, Ambelau, and then sail on to Namrole to enjoy the Independence Day celebrations with the locals. It never ceases to amaze us at how warm and welcoming this race of people is. Indonesians are always ready to invite you into their humble pleasures of life. What fun we had playing a game of beach volleyball in Ambelau and they again treated us like rockstars on their most celebrated day of the year in Namrole. We can learn so much from these carefree people - a simple smile goes a long way.
