Hey everyone! In this episode, I'm thrilled to share my amazing adventure to the ABROLHOS ISLANDS for the ABROLHOS LONG TABLE lunch. It was an unforgettable event organised by Shore Leave and WESTERN ROCK LOBSTER, and you guessed it—there was plenty of yummy ROCK LOBSTER!
Our day started with (would you believe) a HELICOPTER RIDE, yup you heard right HELICOPTER RIDE soaring over the pristine waters and taking in the stunning scenery along the WEST AUSTRALIAN COAST. Once we landed on the EAST WALLABY ISLAND, we were greeted with a feast for our eyes and taste buds. The ABROLHOS LONG TABLE lunch was a culinary delight, featuring the freshest ROCK LOBSTER, mouthwatering scallops and the most delicious BBQ'd baby octopus I've ever feasted on. The top-shelf wine, champagne, and gin were plentiful, adding to the jolly atmosphere.
Mid-course, we took a paddle at the ocean's fringe, breathing in the fresh ocean air and feeling so blessed to be back at this beautiful place. It brought back memories of our visit to the ABROLHOS ISLANDS 12 months ago when we lived our best lives frolicking with the local sea lions and marveling at the rugged beauty of the West Australian coast. Take us back to the ABROLHOS ISLANDS.
This ABROLHOS LONG TABLE LUNCH was a truly special, blend of delicious food, gorgeous scenery, and wonderful company. And the HELICOPTER ride back to Geraldton was equally as breathtaking, taking in the beauty of the PINK LAKE and marveling at the raw splendor of WEST AUSTRALIA COASTLINE so a massive thanks to Justin from @JB Helicopter Prospecting and to Dom and Sharna for sharing this special day with me.
Although... we missed having Mitcho with us, as he was in Sydney saying a heartfelt goodbye to his beloved sister Jenny. ❤️💕💖
