Winning the Class 40 Transat CIC, Ambrogio Beccaria, said that it was an incredibly close race, with lots of twists and turns.
It was not often you win two Transatlantic races in six months, and this is the first solo race that I have won on the boat, that is very, very important to me. And this is one of the best races I have ever done. A lot of the time it is about pain and suffering, this time I was very, very aware all the time of what I was doing, and everything worked very, very well.

In Cagliari it was a slightly more overcast affair, with a dynamic weather system over the Bay of Angels, and the constant threat of rain showers. A shifting wind that gradually built to 12 knots but averaged 10 knots, was more than enough for Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli to rifle through their standard training drills over a near four-hour afternoon training session, but the introduction of marks, and a virtual starting box, indicated a whole new shift in direction.

The Shore Crew in the Azores now have looked at Clarisse's IMOCA, and this is what they found.
We also have reports from her after resuming racing, and further in her race to be in New York by the race start, for the returm Transat. She is becalmed in a depression, and not going anywhere. Still she has time to meet her deadline.

Torbjörn Törnqvist’s, Artemis Racing, demonstrated herself to be categorically back on form, after winning five races out of nine at the 44Cup Baiona. The second event of the 2024 44Cup concluded in the Galician port, where it has been hosted by the Monte Real Club de Yates de Baiona.
This class is nown as "boats in a Box" as they can be broken down and stuffed into a container and delivered to their next venue.
Another Kiwi design.

2024, 470 World Champions, Jordi Xammar and Nora Brugman of Spain, Claimone more title and are crowned European Champions.
The 470 European Championship, held in Yacht Club de Cannes, in France, was concluded with a medal race on Sunday May 12.
Following their success as in Palma, two months ago, were they claimed the 470 Mixed World title, Jordi Xammar and Nora Brugman from Spain have been crowned European Champions in Cannes.

Nicolas Lunven, on Holcim-PRB, came in 14th in the IMOCA class of The Transat CIC, and this is before the jury.
Certainly expected to be one of the key contenders for a top five on this race, Nico Lunven’s challenge, was compromised severely when he lost the bowsprit of Holcim PRB. Since then he was unable to fly any code sails, and struggled to find speed and dropped places.
Rosalin Kuiper also gives an update on the repairs to the boat in New York.
