They all laughed when Leg 4 winners Scallywag and AkzoNobel went North to Taiwan after leaving Hong Kong on Leg 6 to Auckland, New Zealand but now it’s proved to be the right move and they are leading the fleet and pulling away nearing the equator’s Doldrums area of light winds.
