It's just problem solving, isn't it?
Rachel said she hadn't been that afraid in a while. I was telling everyone it was all fine while she was
up on the bow in a whirlpool, two or three foot waves, the boat spinning in circles, rocks and cold
water all around us.
Putting the sails up was the right move. The breeze was incredibly light, but it came at the perfect
moment. The tide pushed us out of the whirlpool and then about two knots of wind kicked in from
exactly the right direction to carry us into the anchorage.
Stress levels coming back down. That's just sailing.
