We’ve arrived in Mexico and it feels amazing! The hurricane season is in full swing, and we’ve decided to keep Elixir here until it’s safe to sail again.
For the first time in a while, we left Elixir in a marina and took a trip inland to discover more of this rich and colourful country.
Layla, talented and generous as always, graces a few of our sailor friends (and Max) with some tattoo’s inspired by sailing lore. She also explains the meanings behind traditional sailing tattoos.
Finally we pack Elixir up in the boatyard, and just when as the adventure is starting to feel like it’s over, something terrifying happens.
