We check out of Italy for our passage over to Albania, stopping over at a small greek island to shorten our passage. The next morning we set off from Orthonoi.

We decided the next day was the day to head off and cross from the boot to the heel of Italy as bad weather was approaching and we didn’t have enough time…

We Leave the marina in Roccella Ionica after refueling, refilling our water tanks and getting alllllllllll the laundry done we continued our journey.

We fix everything quickly and take Jackson for another adventure to explore the town of Roccella Ionica, Italy

We begin navigating the south coast of Italy which is not popular for cruisers due to the lack of sheltered bays and marinas!

We spent an entire day around Naxos and then made the trek up the mountain to Taormina, it was such a hot day and we took the LONG way up!!

We say goodbye to Malta after 2 months of great memories and amazing people! Bittersweet to say goodbye, sad to go but excited for the next part of our journey!
