Sailing Across the Atlantic (EP7)
After the storm, a promising weather window was forecast. The small marina on El Hierro suddenly emptied as we, and our pontoon neighbors headed to The Caribbean. It was a mixture of families and young couples and no one certain which island they were going to, or which would let them stay. We hoped everyone would make it safely and we might cross paths on the other side.
A few days into the trip, we quickly forgot about COVID and the strange new rules accompanying life on land. Life at sea felt even more freeing and peaceful than ever before.
