We cast off from the spiky island of Curaçao, and continue our journey across the Caribbean sea, this time heading for Colombia!
It's an eventful passage. The first day is Max's birthday, we catch a tuna and witness one of the best sunsets ever. The next day we tackle the notorious Cabo de la Vela, known for its relentless winds and seas. Yet, we were not expecting the conditions we experienced, as we rounded the dramatic headland.
On the final day we encountered the thing sailors fear most, lightning. It's safe to say, this was the scariest part of the passage, and nothing quite compares to the feeling of helplessness that comes with watching lightning strike the sea in front of you.
