The Isles of Scilly Said NO… So We Went to Falmouth, England
After crossing the notorious Bay of Biscay from Spain aboard our Kadey Krogen 55 trawler, we finally arrive in England… or so we thought!
Our original plan was to anchor in the beautiful Isles of Scilly, but after arriving we discovered there wasn’t a single space available. With daylight fading, we had to abandon our carefully planned destination and continue on to Falmouth in Cornwall instead.
Fortunately, Mother Nature had one last unforgettable surprise waiting for us. Along the way we were surrounded by an enormous pod of dolphins that stayed with Moonfleet, turning a stressful day into one we’ll never forget.
Join us as we continue our full-time liveaboard adventure around the world with our dog Gypsy, sharing the real highs and lows of long-distance cruising, unexpected changes of plan, incredible wildlife encounters, and life aboard our expedition trawler.
