We’re just ONE DAY away from completing our incredible 4,500-mile Atlantic crossing… but the adventure is far from over.
After weeks at sea aboard our Kadey Krogen 55, we’re approaching Spain and reflecting on one of the biggest adventures of our lives. But before we can celebrate, we still have some serious challenges ahead.
In this episode, we discuss the growing reports of orca encounters with boats off the coast of Spain, our plan for making landfall, and why we’ll be waiting patiently for the right weather window before tackling the infamous Bay of Biscay. Beyond that lies one of the busiest shipping lanes on Earth: the English Channel.
Join us for the final full day at sea as we prepare to complete our Atlantic crossing from St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands to mainland Europe—a journey of more than 4,500 nautical miles. We share the excitement, anticipation, and a few nerves as we get ready to leave the open ocean behind.
