Exploring Samaná, DR | Bahia Marina, Playa Rincón, Jungle Zip Lines & Tree House #dominicanrepublic
In this episode, we continue our journey along the Dominican Republic’s north coast and arrive at Bahia Marina, a peaceful hillside marina tucked into Samaná Bay.
We hike to the very top of the hill — a popular whale-watching lookout during the winter months — and explore the resort, taking in jungle views, pools, and some very convincing reasons to stay longer.
From there, we rent a car and bravely face local traffic (which is sporty to say the least!) as we drive to Playa Rincón, often ranked among the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic. Think coconut palms, mountains, turquoise water — and parking rules that feel wonderfully optional.
Things then take a turn when we get lost on the way back… but accidentally stumble into zip lining, wander through the Dominican Tree House Village, and eventually discover a hidden waterfall deep in the jungle.
