Refreshing Our Sailboat with DIY Yacht Cushions!
The original saloon cushions sucked — hard foam and worn-out covers that really didn't make for a comfortable home. So much of this hardstand stay has been about finally doing the projects we couldn't while warranty was happening around us, and now, it's time for the cushions. This video covers the entire process of making a saloon cushion, from initial foam work to the final fit.
To get it right, I went with high-quality, comfortable foam and outdoor fabric, because yacht DIY is only worth it if the results actually last.
