Episode 278
This is it. Our final sailing passage in Australia brings us all the way up to the remote shores of Thursday Island. But anchoring here marks the end of one massive chapter—and the absolute beginning of another.
Before we can leap across international borders, there’s a massive checklist to tackle. We’re provisioning the boat, securing the gear, and prepping ourselves mentally for what lies ahead. Once the anchor is up, there is no turning back. We are officially setting off on a grueling, unpredictable 700-mile passage across the open ocean, heading straight into the unknown toward Indonesia and the rest of Southeast Asia.
It’s scary, it’s exciting, and it’s a big leap into the unknown. Grab a drink, hit that subscribe button, and join us as we say goodbye to Aussie waters and point the bows northwest ↖️
