We are in full energy management redesign aboard our catamaran Clarity, and we are doing something bold…we are removing our generator. This would have been unheard of a few years ago, but new lithium battery technology, better solar panels and alternators make it possible. In the midst of this change, we almost make a VERY expensive mistake with our new batteries.
