Episode 42.
Happy Easter everyone. We’ve been a great time lately but Hayley has done her best to get a video up for the Easter weekend.
This episode sees us tackle our first reef as we make our way north and into the shallower waters. They are very scary the first few times to make an entry into an island and should never been taken for granted!
Turks and Caicos is a playground for the rich and famous with some very high end resorts on the island… and a great Indian restaurant! We would have loved to spend more time here but with deadlines approaching we really want to head north and explore the Bahamas before I have to go to work.
It’s an easy 36 hour sail from T&C to the Bahamas (once past the reef) but you need to find somewhere to clear customs which for us would be George Town so a cheeky few nights at one of the islands on the way was what we decided on and Conception Island was our choice as it’s totally uninhabited so we couldn’t get in trouble.
