Tŷ (a house) & llu (of numerous host). We are Becka and Zach and we want to give you the warmest welcome to the Teulu Tribe. Since meeting in 2018, it has always been our dream to buy a sailboat, and after lockdown and coming out of university, this idea seemed not only unrealistic but pretty insane. However, we worked hard, gained experience and in March 2022 bought our dream sailboat, a 1987 Colvic Victor ketch. Having little sailing experience and being a young couple, we have encountered a tonne of hurdles and made plenty of mistakes! but for every downfall, there has always been a reason to dust ourselves off and carry on. So hop on board, join our Teulu and lets see what this ‘living’ business is all about.

We pick up anchor in St Pierre and head down to Fort de France for a quick spot of bouldering before continuing on the 22 nautical mile sail to Le Marin, where we tackle a long list of boat jobs, from changing our gearbox oil (and finding a nifty little thing during the process), to sealing a hatch which drips on us every now and then.
