We Ran Aground Before We Even Got Started
Episode 44
In this episode we start a great new adventure. This is the first leg of our journey to the Exuma Islands in the Bahamas. This is Spanish Wells Eleuthera. We leave out of Abaco and cross the North East Providence Pass of the Atlantic Ocean and cross Ridley Head Cut to get into town. We then soft ground out (sand only version of running aground) before finally finding a good spot to anchor. After dropping the hook we head into town and check out the channel and the "can't miss restaurant" Wreckers before heading back to Serenity for a nice (but muted) sunset.
