Thanking all the generous people for the donations yesterday as I was celebrating 83 1/4 of good life. Next begging will be August 22 when I will be celibrating 83 1/3 of good life.
Todays video is about the groowe in the centerboard trunk.
The groowe serves to get the centerboard out of the trunk and back in again.
That way I do not need a fulcrum bolt.
The making can be complicated as it involves a few steps.
If you take your time and do not rush it deviding the job into small parts taking several days letting the epoxy cure between each step, it is easy and not messy.
There will be more steps but progress is steady and the result so far is very satisfactory.

Hi My name is Sven Yrvind. I design, build and cruise small boats. 1962 I left Sweden in 15 feet converted Blekingseka. I soon found out that there was room for improvement. To understand the basic I began to study mathematics and engenering. 1968 I sailed to England via many contries in a converted 13 feet rowing boat. People told me I be more happy on a bigger boat. November that year I found a wreck an old steam launch build 1885 I converted her to a staysail schooner and sailed her to Rio de Janeiro. That voyage advised me that a bigger boat do not bring happiness, happiness is an inside thing. I designed a 6 meter doubble ender built her in my mother basement. Tried to sail around Cape Horn with her but was capsized and pitchpoled. Later I built an 5.9 meter boat in her I rounded Cape Horn in the southern winter June 1980.
